Ziraat Bank Museum
Ziraat Bank Museum is located in Ankara's Ulus district, serving since 1981, where historical objects showing the development of the banking system in Turkey how they were exhibited.
It is Turkey's first banking museum. It was opened in 1981 in the Hall of Fame on the ground floor of Ziraat Bank Headquarters Building, located in Ankara's Ulus district, one of the structures of the First National Architectural Period, built by the Italian Architect Giulio Mongeri in 1929, in order to convey the Bank's knowledge and experience to the future. Ziraat Bank Museum, which has the feature of showing the commercial, economic, political, cultural, artistic and educational change of the Turkish banking system from its beginning to the present, and its development from past to present, exhibits many antique objects used in the banking system, which contain these features, in a historical atmosphere.
After the restoration works that started in the historical building in 2017, the Ziraat Bank Museum, which was expanded with the inclusion of the basement floor on the ground floor, was opened to visitors in November 2019 with its new face, enriched with digital elements in line with the modern museum understanding.
