Aydın State Hospital

The first service building of the hospital was built by the British-Italians and the French to be used as a police station while the Aydın-İzmir railway was being built. This building, which was used as a police station after the railway construction was completed, was put into service in 1892 under the name of Millet Hospital. In the following years, the hospital was enlarged by adding various units one by one with the contributions of the people of the region.

The construction of the current 400-bed State Hospital started in 1985 and was completed in 1991. With the new arrangements made later, it started to serve in the new hospital building in 1993. Our hospital, which started its service in 1993, still continues. . . .

It provides health services to the people of Aydın with a closed area of 31060 m2 and a bed capacity of 464 on a 51090 m2 area.
