Bayrampasa State Hospital

Our hospital was opened in 1970 in Istanbul Sağmalcılar region, with a capacity of 20 beds, to serve convicted patients with a protocol signed between the Ministries of Justice and Health. In the 1990s, the new 4-storey building on an area of 300m2 was built by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to serve the civilian population in addition to the prisoners, and our hospital became a hospital with a capacity of 50 beds.

75% of our rooms serve as a single room with toilet and bathroom. In its latest form, approximately 4500 patients are examined daily and around 70 surgeries are performed in our hospital. As Bayrampaşa State Hospital, it has been decided to build a new modern hospital with 300 beds, and the works are still being carried out by our Ministry during the project and space allocation phase.
