The foundations of Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Hospital were laid by Bezmiâlem Valide Sultan in 1845 as Gureba-i Müslimin Hospital. The true foundation of the opportunities and benefits she provided for both health and education in our country can be traced back to Gureba-i Müslimin Hospital.
Continuously providing healthcare services since its establishment, Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Hospital expanded its services from the European side to the Anatolian side in 2016. Operating on a closed area of 18,163 m², Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Dragos Hospital has 160 patient beds, 61 outpatient clinic rooms, 6 high-tech operating rooms, and a 43-bed intensive care unit with 17 neonatal, 13 general intensive care, 7 coronary, 6 cardiovascular surgery, and 2 beds in a negative pressure isolation room. In our internal medicine, 13 surgical, and oral and dental health departments, it continues diagnosis and treatments in 9 branches.
Performed by our medical staff, who have achieved many successes academically and theoretically both domestically and internationally, robot-assisted knee and hip surgeries, as well as the treatment of all orthopedic conditions, including orthopedic oncology, scoliosis, and shoulder surgery, are planned.
In recent years, minimal incision aortic valve replacements, the most preferred method for open-heart surgeries, are performed, and the diagnosis, diagnosis, and treatment process of cancer, one of the most common diseases worldwide, is followed by our team in the radiation oncology department, supporting our patients in their strong struggles.
