Bilecik Training and Research Hospital

It was established in 1930 under the name of “Motherland Hospital” with 15 beds by the private administration. It was transferred to the Ministry of Health with all its assets in 1954 and moved to its building in Ertuğrul Gazi neighborhood in 1957 with 50 beds. The number of beds in our hospital was 75 in 1960 and our bed capacity was 128 in 1999. When our hospital moved to its new building in Pelitözü on 06.09.2020, it was put into service with a capacity of 250 beds. It was registered as "Bilecik Training and Research Hospital" on 30.11.2020 and serves with a capacity of 300 beds. A total of 884 personnel work in our hospital, with 60 specialist physicians, 28 general practitioners, 219 nurses, 57 midwives, 368 permanent staff, 501 contracted and permanent workers.
