The first building of Hatay training and research hospital was opened in 1939. In 2001, it moved to its new 250-bed building. The new hospital building, the foundations of which were laid in September 2013, was opened to the service of our people on a 139,798.04 m² land area and a closed area of 94,464.45 m², and started to accept patients in December 2016. The old state hospital continues to serve as an additional service building with 150 beds and 57 polyclinics. . Antakya State Hospital has reached a total bed capacity of 1130, with the additional service building (Former SSK Hospital) and Hatay Gynecology and Childhood Hospitals moving to the new service building of Hatay Training and Research Hospital, 172 polyclinics, 179 beds intensive care units, 27 operating rooms. , 47-bed hemodialysis unit, 25-bed oncology service, 21-patient-capacity chemotherapy unit, 2-bed sleep laboratory and other units equipped with modern technology serve our people.
