Sivas Numune Hospital
As reported by Dr. Sırrı Alıçlı; in 1910, during the Governor Muammer Bey period, it was planned to build a Hometown Hospital, and although a very large hospital building was built in Kabak's writing, the building could not be used as a hospital due to both the building structure and the small windows, and it started to be used as a school. In 1913, the Memleket Hospital was merged with the Armenian Hospital, and the building was used as the American Hospital due to the inadequacy of the building. In 1924, it was named as Numune Hospital. This building burned down in 1932. After the fire, Numune Hospital served in different buildings. In 1952, the building on Rahmi Günay Street was put into service. Numune Hospital, which also served as a training hospital between 1965 and 1970, merged with the 100-bed Chest Hospital and 100-Bed Maternity and Child Nursing Hospital in 2003 and was named Sivas Sultan Izzettin Keykavus State Hospital with 675 beds. The hospital was renamed Sivas Numune Hospital in 2007.
Numune Hospital, which started to serve officially in its new building in 2015, merged with Sivas State Hospital in December 2015 and provides service with 1070 beds.
