Tokat State Hospital

In 1936, it was put into service by the Special Provincial Administration as Tokat Homeland Hospital with a capacity of 50 beds. In 1946, it was transferred to the General Budget and has 80 beds. In 1950, with the addition of 50 beds, it reached 130, and in 1956, with the addition of 50 beds, it reached 180 bed capacity. With the additional building built in 1974, it reached a capacity of 250 beds. The name of our hospital, which had 400 beds with the addition of 50 beds in 1989 and 100 beds in 2000, was changed to Tokat Dr. Cevdet Aykan State Hospital. In 2009, Tokat Governor Recep Yazıcıoğlu State Hospital and Tokat Dr. Cevdet Aykan State Hospital was merged and renamed as Tokat State Hospital.
