Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital

Hospital / Turkiye, Black Sea, Zonguldak

Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital

Our hospital was put into service as SSK Hospital on 12.11.1974 with 455 licensed bed capacity in the building, which was needed due to the density of insurance beneficiaries in the Zonguldak region and whose financial construction was completed on 01.02.1969. It was deemed appropriate to become a regional hospital on 16.10.1995 as a result of the arrangements and improvements made in order to prevent the increase in the number of patients referred from the provinces to our hospitals in our major cities, to eliminate the victimization of patients treated in the region, and to prevent loss of time and effort. Our hospital was named Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital with the transfer of SSK Hospitals to the Ministry of Health on 20.02.2005, and still provides services with 27 branches, 4 laboratories, 503 registered, 479 actual bed capacity and 1594 permanent staff. Zonguldak State Hospital (Additional Building, on 01.08.2010), Kozlu District Polyclinic (Construction Year 1978) and Kilimli Neighborhood Polyclinic (Year of Construction 2007) buildings, which are gathered under the roof of Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital, also serve within our hospital.
