Valide Hanım Mansion Hotel

Valide Hanım Mansion is a mansion built by Mehmet Küçük in 1931 for his daughter Akile Arca. It is a rare Nicosia mansion whose front door opens to Girne Street and its back door opens to Samanbahçe. Akile Arca is also the sister of Dr Fazıl Küçük, the leader of the Turkish Cypriot community. The mansion is located across the Dr Fazıl Küçük Museum. The street of Kyrenia has witnessed many historical events, especially during the British Period.
