Adalar
It consists of the archipelago to the south of Istanbul. The archipelago has 9 islands, 4 of which are inhabited. It is the smallest district of Istanbul in terms of population. It is one of the oldest districts in the province and there are no villages or towns attached to the island. Access to the islands, which are surrounded by the Sea of Marmara, is provided by regular ferry services. It is important in terms of history and nature tourism.
