Can Island
It is a 7-decare islet located between Eğirdir and Yeşilada, used only as a picnic area. During Atatürk's visit to Eğirdir, Can Island was given to Atatürk as a gift with the Decision of the Municipal Committee dated 01 February 1933, and later transferred to Atatürk's heirs, from them to Eğirdir Municipality.
Can Island, which is a beautiful place for tent and caravan tourism, is one of the places where the local people show the most interest due to its picnic area and natural beauties.
