Çekerek Lavender Island
Çekerek Mayor Eyyüp Çakır said that 250 thousand lavender seedlings were planted on 1,500 decares of 250 decares of land in a single parcel and Lavender Island was established.
Çakır stated that with the Lavender Island Project implemented on the peninsula in Çekerek Dam, they aim to make the district the tourism center of the Central Anatolia Region.
