Sevgi Island
The island is located just inside Adnan Menderes Lake. Love Island, which is quite small in area, is a busy place that is flooded by visitors throughout the year. The park inside is frequented by couples.
Although visited especially in the spring and summer months, the Orange Blossom Festival, celebrated in the first week of April, is a frequent destination for the people of Adana and guests from other cities of Turkey.
The island, which is decorated with neon lights in the evening, is also among the favorite activity areas of photography enthusiasts.
To reach the island, it is possible to first come to Adnan Menderes Lake by private car, taxi or bicycle, and then rent a double kayak. Access to the island by boat ends at 20:00 in the evening. With the withdrawal of water from the dam, transportation to the island is also provided on foot during dry periods.
