Arin (Sodalı) Lake
Another lake in Bitlis is Arin Lake, located in the city's Adilcevaz district. The lake, which is also considered a bird paradise, is located just behind Lake Van, at the foot of Mount Süphan. This lake, which is estimated to be from the times when Van Lake was 5 meters higher, is one of the important lakes of the region. The lake, which you can easily reach from Adilcevaz district, is called a bird paradise because it creates a habitat for nearly 200 beautiful birds. In the lake, where you can observe many bird species from gray ducks to Dikkuyruk, you can fish and admire the beauty of nature once again.
