Aygır Lake
Another one of Bitlis' natural wonder lakes is located in Adilcevaz district, which is 1 hour away from Bitlis city center. The lake, at the foot of Mount Süphan, behind Adilcevaz, on the edge of Lake Van, is about 10 km away from the district. You can easily reach the lake by your car, which is located at a very easily accessible point and on a clean road. Aygır Lake, one of the volcanic formation lakes of Bitlis, is also known as a soda lake. The lake, which is usually visited by those who want to camp or nature walkers, is visited by families as a recreation area, especially on weekends. There is also a restaurant and trout facility around the lake. You can spend a nice day in the restaurant where you can eat and drink something, or you can have a pleasant fishing activity with the fishing rod you bring with you.
