Erçek Lake
Erçek Lake, located 30 km east of Lake Van, within the coordinates of 38° 39' N 43° 33' E, is a lake with alkaline waters and pH value varying between 10.75 and 9.40. Its surface area is 114 km² and its surface elevation (altitude) is 1808.32 m. With a surface area of 114 km², it is the second largest lake in the Van Lake basin after Van Lake.
