Gaga Lake

Gaga (Grago) Lake is a lake formed as a result of a landslide, located in the Fatsa district of Ordu, at the 8th kilometer of the Fatsa-Aybastı highway and in the Fatsa district of Yassıtaş.

Lake Gaga was formed as a result of a landslide, a large number of pits of different sizes were formed and naturally became a lake when the pits were filled with precipitation. Many small lakes in this area later dried up by themselves or were drained by the local people to make fields. The lake has two separate bowls, with a width of approximately 200 x 250 m , 15 m deep. There is another section to the west of it, connected by a small threshold between them. Its width is approximately 150 x 180 m and its depth does not exceed 1–2 m
