Gediz Delta
Gediz Delta is the delta formed by the Gediz River on the borders of İzmir's Çiğli, Menemen and Foça districts, where it flows into the Aegean Sea from the east of the İzmir Bay. The delta, which is home to many bird species, has the status of a Ramsar site and an Important Bird Area.
