Kaz Lake
Kaz Lake is a tectonic lake near Üzümören town on the Zile-Pazar road in Tokat province. It is located in Kazova, near the Pazar district border in Turhal. The altitude of Lake Az is 540 m, its depth is 1-1.5 m, its area is 180 ha, its length from south to north is 3 km, and its width is 900 m. The lake is fed by underground springs and Çayköy and Bahçebaşı creeks. The lake is being tried to be dried after 1950. While its area was 2,960,000 m2 in 1987, it decreased to 1,650,000 km2 in 2010 measurements. Agriculture is carried out in the areas where the lake is drawn. Yeşilırmak passes approximately 2 km north of the lake.
