Lome Creek
Lome Stream or Yolgeçen Stream is a stream in the Arhavi district of Artvin province that flows into Kapisre Stream in the village of Yakovit. Lome Creek is home to the Oçambre Waterfall. The rock pools next to the Ochambre Waterfall are ideal for swimming. Red-spotted trout can be seen in the upper parts of the waterfall. According to the research conducted by Uzunhasanoğlu and Deniz in 1962, the renewability rate of the trout grown in the stream is 70.66%. The Drinking Water and Package Treatment Plant in the stream meets the drinking water needs of Arhavi district. The hydroelectric power plant on the river generates 7,270 GWh of energy annually.
