Melendiz Stream
It crosses the 14 km long Ihlara Valley, formerly called Peristremma, and the Melendiz Stream. The river starts from Ihlara Town and the depth of the canyon in which the river flows reaches 120 meters in places. The natural formation and sheltered structure of the Ihlara Valley makes it one of the important centers of the Christian religion.
