Narlıgöl
Narlıgöl, which is the most important place in the list of places to visit in Niğde, is also the only crater lake of the Cappadocia region. Craters, which are formed as a result of the lava flowing out as a result of the movement of the volcanoes and the accumulation and overflow of the pits formed in the magmas, over time fill with rain and snow waters and form lakes. Narlıgöl, which fits this description, is cold and sweet despite its volcanic origin and sulfur content. Narlıgöl, which includes reeds and fish, was known as "Bitter Lake" in ancient times. Located at the intersection of Niğde, Aksaray and Nevşehir, the lake is located in the Çiftlik district of Niğde, within the borders of Nar Village, and is 75 km away from the center of Niğde. Covering an area of approximately 3 thousand square meters, Narlıgöl has a height of 1371 and a depth of 70-80 meters. Seen as a heart when viewed from above, Narlıgöl also manages to be the address of photography enthusiasts. Moreover, let's underline that bicycle festivals are held in summer for this magnificent view.
