Ovit Dağbaşı Lake
Ovit Dağbaşı Lake is a 2733 meter high lake located in the İkizdere district of Rize, near the Ovit Pass. To reach this magnificent lake, you can use a 500-meter dirt road to the right as you head towards the Ovit pass from the İkizdere-İspir highway. This road will take you to the point where you will encounter the magnificent view of the lake.
Ovit Dağbaşı Lake is also neighboring Kurbağa Lake and two other lakes. There are also two other small lakes under the Devil Rocks to the west of the lake.
However, it is important to note that these last two lakes are quite difficult to reach. There are no social facilities around the lake, which is usually visited during the summer months.
