Torkul Lake
Torkul Pond and Plateau, located within the borders of Düzce Merkez Uğurköy, is 34 km from the city center. Torkul Pond is a natural pond with an area of 5,000 m² consisting of volcanic collapse in Torkul Plateau, which is at an altitude of 1,251 m. The entire area is 78,801 m². You can have a picnic, angling, photo-safari, tent camping, accompanied by a panoramic view of trees such as beech, fir, hornbeam, chestnut, maple, and larch around the pond, and you can make trekking tours at a distance of 6 km between Torkul and Odayeri Highlands.
