Akdoğan and Winds Midwife Pine
Akdoğan and Rüzgarlar Ebe Pine is one of the nature conservation areas in Turkey. Akdoğan and Rüzgarlar Ebe Pine is located in Yenigüney village of Bolu province.
Akdoğan and Rüzgarlar Ebe Pine covers an area of 193 hectares. On August 16, 1988, it was declared as a nature conservation area. It was accepted as one of the nature conservation areas due to the fact that the midwife pine, which is very few in number in the world, is found in this region. Oak and larch trees, especially the midwife pine, are also found in the region. The main animal species living in the region include fox, dove, weasel, squirrel, pig, partridge and owl.
