Doğanlı Sycamore Nature Monument
This monumental tree in the village of Doğanlı is known to be 550 years old. The plane tree is located on the Adıyaman-Çelikhan highway, 40 km from Adıyaman city center. In the valley of Doğanlı village, next to a continuous water source on the north-facing slope, the plane tree developed on volcanic sandy soils. The tree is 40 meters long, 3.82 meters in diameter and covers an area of 12 meters square. It was registered as a Monument Tree by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in 2006. Especially in spring and summer, local people visit this place for picnics.
