Hayreddin-i Tokadi Tomb
Located 13 kilometers west of Bolu city center, within the boundaries of Elmalık Village, 4 kilometers northeast of the Abant junction, on a hill bearing its name, the shrine is situated in a forested area. Nearby are a small pond, picnic area, mosque, soup kitchen, and local product sales units. The tombs of Hayrettin-i Tokadi, a member of the Halvetiyye order, and his disciples are enclosed in concrete frames, while the tomb of Hayrettin-i Tokadi himself, who died in 930 AH (1524 AD), is enclosed in an iron cage. The tombstones are made of marble and are newly constructed. The shrine, which holds a significant place in religious tourism in our province, is visited by thousands of people throughout the year.
