Kocaseyit Monument

After his death, the name of his village was changed to "Kocaseyit". The Koca Seyit Monument was built in 2006, representing all the martyrs, where his grave is located. There are Koca Seyit statue, Atatürk statue, monument, museum and ball in the Monument Area. Designed by Tankut Öktem, the monument was completed by family members Pınar Öktem Doğan and Oylum Öktem İşözen due to Öktem's death.

In 1996, a bronze and salt sculpture symbolizing the heroism of Seyit Ali was erected by sculptor Hüseyin Anka Özkan in place of the Rumeli Mecidiye Bastion, identified with Seyit Ali, on the border of Kilitbahir village. The statue was removed in 2006 on the grounds that it showed Seyit Ali carrying the cannonball on his lap, not on his back. It was moved to the Mecidiye Bastion in November 2010. The 4-meter statue, which depicts Seyit Ali dressed in military clothes, with a skullcap called Kabalak, and with a lead on his back, was built by the sculptor Eray Okkan to be covered with bronze. moved to the present. It was placed in a park in Eceabat district.
