Melodere Eastern Spruce Nature Monument

The Çoruh Valley is one of the 25 wonders of the world with its natural richness and diversity. One of the natural assets within the protected areas in the region is the Melodere Eastern Spruce Natural Monument. The spruce tree located in Melodere, Taşlıca village, Artvin province is 150 years old, 30 meters tall and 2.40 meters wide. The monumental tree, which is located in the Hatila Valley National Park and constitutes one of its main values and should be emphasized, impresses its visitors with its pyramidal structure.
