Poet Zihni Monument
The monument, which was built in the name of Şair Zihni, born in Bayburt, is located in Imaret Tepe. Although not certain, it is estimated that the birth date of Şair Zihni is 1797. The poet, who was educated in Erzurum and Trabzon madrasas, served as a civil servant at various levels in Istanbul. The grave of Şair Zihni, who died in 1859, was brought from Bahçekaya Village in Maçka and buried in the cist section of the monument in Imaret Tepe in 1936.
