Subaşı Pools Natural Monument
The site, which is included in the project for the protection of monumental trees that the Ministry of Environment and Forestry attaches great importance to, is of great importance especially for nature researchers. There are 2 plane trees in the Subaşı area of Çatalca within this scope. Again, the plane trees in the Subaşı-Havuzlar region are estimated to be between 900-1000 years old and have a height of 15 meters, a diameter of 3.5 meters and a circumference of 17 meters. These monumental trees, which can be easily reached from the center of Çatalca, are extremely interesting examples in terms of showing the power and abundance of nature.
