Tekkoz-Kengerlidüz Tabiatı Koruma Alanı
Tekkoz Kengerli Düz is a nature conservation area located within the borders of Erzin in Hatay province. It has the southernmost natural distribution of Eastern Beech (Fagus orientalis) in the world. The tree species around Kengerlidüz are beech, oak and fir; the tree species around Tekkoz are hornbeam, ash, beach, larch and birch. Some of the animal species in the region are wild goat, roe deer, bear, hyena, wild cat, wagtail, wolf, jackal and fox.
