Vakıf Çamlığı
Vakıf Çamlığı is one of the nature conservation areas in Turkey. It is located in Tavşanlı district of Kütahya province. The region is 45 kilometers from Kütahya and 30 kilometers from Tavşanlı district. On June 8, 1988, it was declared as a nature conservation area. Vakıf Çamlık covers an area of approximately 448 hectares. Vakıf Çamlığı is the only natural area where ehrami larch, a globally unique larch species in danger of extinction, is found. Another larch species that grows only in Turkey, the ebe pine, is also found in the area, as well as juniper, hairy oak, willow and linden trees. The main animal species found in Vakıf Çamlık are fox, badger, pig, rabbit, partridge and quail.
