Aziziye Mosque
Aziziye Mosque is a historical mosque belonging to the 17th century Ottoman period in Konya.
The mosque, which was built by Sheikh Ahmet in 1671-1676, burned down and was rebuilt in 1867 by Pertevniyal Sultan, the mother of Sultan Abdulaziz. The mosque, which is one of the last period Ottoman works, bears the traces of European baroque architecture. The single-domed, double-minaret mosque has a narthex with three small domes.
