Handanbey Mosque

It is also known as the Handaniye Mosque. In the records of 1647, the name of the mosque is mentioned as Handan Bey. It was built by Handan Ağa, who is considered the poorest of the Erzincan lords living in Antep. The mosque, which also has an income-generating saddlery, was rebuilt in 1791. After that, the income from saddlery started to be used in the repairs of the mosque. In the defense of Antep, the mosque was closed to worship. It was later repaired again.
