Ömer Şeyh Mosque

Şıh Ömer Mosque (Ömer Şeyh Mosque) was built as a small mosque before 1559, and was enlarged as a mosque in 1698 by Hacı Mehmet, son of Apar, upon his will. The main space is covered with cross vaults and is divided into six sections, the middle of which is the foot. The narthex is in the form of three openings with two legs and is covered with a flat roof resting on two legs connected by slightly pointed arches. It is seen that this part of the place has lost its originality. The pointed arched crown door is made of white-black stone. The minaret, which sits on a square base in the northeast corner of the mosque, is made of cut stone and its base is polygonal. Its minaret is flat, as in other mosques, with muqarnas under the balcony, and its lower parts are floral motifs. The interior of the mosque is plain without ornaments.
