Ömeriye Mosque
Ömeriye Mosque, located in the Buttonci District of Gaziantep, is the oldest mosque in Antep. It is recorded in the records that it was repaired in 1210. Although it is not known exactly by whom the mosque was built; It is said that it was built during the time of Caliph Omar or by the Umayyad Caliph Omar Bin Abdulaziz, the grandson of Omar's daughter. It is among the rumors that Hazrat Omar had it built and Omer Bin Abdulaziz had it repaired.
