Sheikh Fetullah Mosque

Şeyh Fethullah Mosque remained as it was first built. And it has not been changed. This mosque was never built again. This mosque is unique not only in Turkey but also in the world.

It was popularly known as the "Lower Şeyh Mosque". Colorful stones were laid on the ground floor of the gate. because it has the feature of colored ground zone. The grave of our soldier named Karayılan (Molla Mehmet) is located outside this mosque. This soldier was martyred in the defense of Antep. While other mosques have Ottoman and Arabic features, this mosque has Seljuk architecture. This mosque is also a mosque rising on a single column. Şeyh Fetullah Mosque (Şıh Mosque) is the mosque of Gaziantep's most important social complex (consisting of mosque, zawiya bath and madrasah).
