Suleymaniye Mosque
Süleymaniye Mosque is a mosque built by Mimar Sinan in Istanbul between 1551-1557 on behalf of Suleiman the Magnificent.
The Süleymaniye Mosque, which is described as the work of Mimar Sinan's journeyman period, was built as a part of the Süleymaniye Complex, which consists of madrasas, library, hospital, sanatorium, bathhouse, imaret, hazire and shops.
