Afyonkarahisar Culture and Art House
Afyonkarahisar Municipality, which has made it a tradition to protect valuable artifacts, has now restored a historical mansion under the name of Afyonkarahisar Culture and Art House, after the Taş Madrasa, Bedesten Bazaar, tombs and fountains, and brought it to our city's culture and tourism. Afyonkarahisar Municipality has restored the mansion known as the old warehouse behind the Municipality City Bazaar, as well as the Stone Madrasa, Bedesten Bazaar, tombs and fountains. In the historical building with an area of 1,54 square meters, it will exhibit and promote the local and cultural heritages of our city. The 107-year-old registered building built in 1910 was brought back into history with this project. Objects belonging to our cultural values are animated with silicone sculptures in the Culture and Art House, where the bride's room, felt and Turkish delight making rooms, old kitchen animation rooms and places related to daily life come together. The Culture and Art House will make a great contribution to the tourism potential of the region.
