Architect Vedat Tek Cultural Center

In 2000, the Cultural Center was created in the name of Architect Vedat, the pioneer of the National Architectural Movement, who built the Kastamonu Government Office, and the area took its current appearance in 2007 with additions and developments. Within the complex created, there are 75th Year Republic House Special Museum, Lace Section, Tragacanth Doll Section, a 3-section gallery and a Relief Hall. The most important place here is the 75th Year Private Republic Museum. Inside the museum, there is the weapon section taken from the Archeology Museum for temporary display, and the hat section, which is the first and only in Turkey. In the museum, which was established in 2007, women's and men's hats used from the beginning of the century until today are exhibited, while the collection is being developed.
