Baksı Museum

Baksı Museum is among the first sightseeing stops of Bayburt. Baksı Museum is located within the borders of Bayraktar Village on a high hill overlooking the Çoruh Valley, 45 kilometers outside the city. The museum building has a very interesting architecture… The museum was opened in June 2010 and includes workshops, library, exhibition halls and guest houses.

The main reason for the opening of the Baksı Museum is to bring art back to the city, which was heavily migrating. At the same time, it activates the economic life of the region.
