Bediuzzaman Sasd Nursi stayed in this house in the Honsalar District between 1936-1943. The house was restored close to its original form in 1996 by the Service Foundation, with the indication of Abdullah Yeğin, Bediuzzaman's student from Kastamonu. During his stay, Master Bediuzzaman, who trained many students such as Mehmet Feyzi Efendi, Abdullah Yeğin, Taşköprülü Sadık Bey, Ahmed Kureyşi, Hilmi Erkal, wrote many important works in Kastamonu such as Kastamonu Appendix, Münacat, Ayetül Kübra. Nursi, who came to Kastamonu in 1936, stayed in the police station for a short time, and was placed in this house across from the police station at that time and was not allowed to meet with anyone, the people who met him were tortured. Despite this, the public showed great interest to him, and prominent names such as the mayor of the time, Adil Bey, also showed respect to him. . The master's cap, underwear, shirt and quilt face, time-written copies and manuscripts are exhibited in the house.
