Hasankeyf Museum
Hasankeyf Museum and cultural park area, which is a candidate to become the most important tourism attraction center of Batman province and the region, was established on a large area of 96,323.26 m² with the aim of becoming a regional museum. 1791 artifacts from Batman, Diyarbakır and Mardin Museums were transferred to Hasankeyf Museum within the scope of Exhibition and Arrangement Works. In addition to the Hasankeyf excavations, the artifacts unearthed from about 20 salvage excavations in Batman, Mardin, Siirt and Diyarbakir, and the artifacts brought to the Batman, Diyarbakir and Mardin museums through purchase grants, belong to the Paleolithic, Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze, Iron, Medieval, Roman, Artuqid and Ottoman periods. Archaeological, coin and ethnographic works constitute the richest collection of the museum, which includes 1466 works belonging to the museum.
