Kars Museum
In Kars, which has hosted many civilizations for thousands of years, the first museum office was established in 1959. Later, with the increase in the number of artifacts after the archaeological excavations, the Kümbet Mosque (Church of the Apostles) was turned into a museum. The Modern Kars Museum, which was opened in 1981 due to the need for a larger museum in 1978, is among the important museums where today's archaeological, ethnographic and stone works are exhibited.
