Kastamonu Archeology Museum

The museum serves in the building that was drawn by the founder of the National Architecture movement, Architect Kemaleddin Bey in 1917. In 1945, the museum started to serve as a warehouse and was officially opened in 1951. The Archeology Museum, which is one of the leading museums in the country in terms of the number of artifacts, has 51,874 (50.545-1329) artifacts, 50 thousand of which are coins, in 2008 figures.
