Kayseri Ataturk House Museum

The museum building, which was built as a house in the 19th century, is also known as İmamizade Raşit Ağa Mansion. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who came to the city on 19-20 December 1919, stayed in the building for two nights. In 1976, the building was registered as an immovable cultural property to be protected. It was expropriated by the Ministry of Culture in 1978 and transformed into Atatürk House in 1983. It was reorganized on 19 December 1998 and became the Atatürk Museum.
