Menteşe Municipality Culture House
The Culture House, located in Şeyh Neighborhood and expropriated by Muğla Municipality in 1999, dates back to the 1800s. The building, which used to belong to the Şerefliler Family, has a feature that reflects both Turkish and Greek architecture together. When you enter the Culture House, traces of the past embrace you. There is an inner courtyard at the entrance and an open sofa downstairs, and a closed wooden bay window on the upper floor. The rooms of the Muğla Culture House were built to open to the sofas. Muğla Culture House, which was put into service after its restoration was completed in 2003, has been transformed into a place where cultural events are held as well as local clothes and goods.
