Tekirdağ Archeology and Ethnography Museum

The museum building was first built as the Governor's Mansion during the Republic period. The quad museum consists of stone artifacts, archaeological artifacts, ethnographic artifacts halls and the old Tekirdag room. Historical artifacts dating back to 4500 BC are exhibited in the museum. In addition, architectural pieces, sarcophagi, grave steles, altar stones, milestones, inscriptions from the Ottoman period, fountain and fountain mirrors, tombstones from the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods found in Tekirdağ and the surrounding ruins as an open display in the large garden of the museum are worth seeing.
